Celebrate Liberty’s artistic and cultural heritage with an exclusive art print, a digital copy of an iconic design discovered deep in the Liberty archive.This collection of unframed inkjet prints pays homage to Liberty’s vast scope of archival designs that span across the last century and a half, from the Arts and Crafts and Aesthetic Movements to ‘70s-era Bauhaus graphics and ‘90s grunge florals. They are printed using UV inks on 250gsm matt smooth conservation fine art paper for rich colours with depth that complement the vivid artwork. Atwell is a trompe l’oeil style geometric design, originally created for Liberty in 1964 by the multitalented Bernard Nevill, who was Liberty’s design director at the time. These overlapping and intertwining circles create a dense, multi-dimensional repeat pattern, highlighting an interplay between depth, size and colour.
